Kart Nation is gearing up for next year with the announcement of its Driver Development and Ladder program with two race teams for 2010.

Kart Nation will be developing two teams in the next several months using the local races at Katy and the newly formed and much anticipated SOUTHERN WINTER TOUR CHAMPIONSHIP at MSR KARTING Presented by KART NATION. Now through December 28, 2009 KART NATION will be conducting tryouts and selecting drivers for the two teams. The first is the Kart Nation/SRR Houston Arrive and Drive race team featuring the Stuart Robinson Racing driver and mechanic development program with driver and mechanic coaching available at each event. This will provide fantastic competition for the developing driver and an excellent opportunity for families to experience wheel to wheel racing at a local level. The second team is Kart Nation's Stuart Robinson Racing National race team competing in the SWRC (Southwest Regional Cup), Rotax Pan American Series, Rotax Nationals, CKI, SKUSA Pro, Rock Island Grand Prix, and Super Nationals.

Kart Nation will be conducting tests with drivers from now through December 28, 2009 in addition to providing arrive and drive and SRR Driver Development support at the following events:

October 5, 2009 – Katy, Texas
October 8-10, 2009 – CKI @ OMC in Norman, Oklahoma
October 18, 2009 – Katy, Texas
November 1, 2009 – Katy, Texas

November 14, 2009 – (Swap Meet) Katy, Texas
November 15, 2009 – Katy, Texas
November 18-22 – Super Nationals in Las Vegas, Nevada

December 6-12 - ROTAX WORLD CHAMPIONSHIPS – SHARM EL-SHEIKH, EGYPT
December 21, 2009 – MSR Karting (Team Test and Tryouts)
December 28, 2009 – Announcement Day For Drivers On Kart Nationa Race Teams
